Artist Biography, Kirstie Behrens

I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee in 2019 in Fine Art.
The works in this exhibition are all etchings, the most recent piece being ‘Buachaille Etive Mor’ in Glencoe. My work often revolves around time-based projects where natural elements are used actively as tools creating marks which are traces and evidence of the passage of time. The first proof of this etching lies in the Lost Valley in Glencoe.
I plan to retrieve it later this year.
