Artist Biography, Mary Farrell

Mary Farrell Design creates original and distinctive contemporary silver jewellery designs in a linear and modernist style. All work is hand made in Scotland, inspired by both natural and industrial forms, line, pattern and texture.
Mary Farrell has been creating hand-made jewellery for over 30 years, exhibiting her work in galleries and outlets throughout the UK, Europe and Japan. Her work often involves the use of new and sometimes alternative materials. Previous collections have employed ceramic, paper, acrylic, resin, textiles, non-precious wires & metals, rubber, semi precious beading and precious metal clay.
Current work combines fine and sterling silver, playing with a range of finishes and textures.
