Scarlett has become well known and respected within the Scottish jewellery design industry since she graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2012 and has a plethora of awards under her belt already - most recently including; The Tayberry Gallery Prize winner 2012, The Guild of Jewellery Designers Gold Membership Winner 2012, The Guild of Jewellery Designers Nexgen Tags Winner 2013 and The Dundee Craft Makers Award 2014 and 2016.
Taking her inspirations from the skin, Scarlett highlights the beauty contained within detailed structures and textures of skin cells in her work. She aims to engage the wearer by heightening their sense of touch through creating jewellery that, when worn, feels as though it’s an extension to the skin. She does this through using various techniques with precious metals to create contrasting textures. Scarlett’s work is further enhanced through her intricate use of precious and semi precious gemstones settings adding elegance and colour to her collection.
Scarlett also offers a bespoke commission service which involves the customer in the creative process of designing new pieces or revamping existing ones.
