Although a classic view of the harbour you don’t often see it from the beach.  Its a beautiful spot in an already picturesque area. Jem moved to the East Neuk from Bristol in 2020. He has quickly settled in getting to know the best locations for painting. To quote him, “Whenever I’m out in the landscape I’m also thinking about how to ‘capture’ and share that experience. The great watercolourists have shown that this medium is all we should need. In theory it can be simple, but watercolour has its own ideas…”
